Mode of Action

• Florasulam and Flumetsulam both have Systemic action on weeds.
• It interferes with the ALS Enzyme which results in stunted growth of weeds at the spot.
• Possesses foliar as well as root activity.
• Depending on the species, growing conditions and crop competition, leaves and growing points turn yellow within one to three weeks after application. Further, colour changes and loss of vigor will be observed, followed by a browning and complete control three to four weeks after application.

Method of Application:

Application Timing:
For optimum results, apply herbicide to actively growing weeds. An early application at 2 leaves stage will maximize crop yields by reducing weed competition. Ideal time for its spray is at 2-4 leaves stage of Weeds. Weeds emerging after application of the herbicide will not be controlled. Thorough coverage of the plants is essential for consistent control. The quantity of water should be 100 – 120 litres per acre for Knapsack sprayer.

• A uniform spray on the entire land is essential to get the desired result.
• Stress conditions may reduce effectiveness.
